Install SNMP

For Debian, use the following commands:

apt-get install snmp snmpd

Configure SNMP

Edit the configuration located at /etc/snmp/snmpd.conf

Change the line

#com2sec readonly default public

 to

com2sec readonly IPOFSERVER/CIDR CHANGEKEY
